Template id: instagram/publisher · Trigger: Manual · Flow timeout: none · Keep files: 1 day
Posts Reels from Rewivo, a post set or a Files folder, one a run. Each video goes to an account once, and only counts as posted once a new Reel with its caption is on the profile.
What you need
- A Dataset › Account with platform Instagram.
- A Dataset › AI key. The flow asks for one even if you never use the AI.
- With Rewivo: a Dataset › Credentials entry of type Rewivo. Make its API key in your Rewivo workspace, under Developer: Read runs for clips, Read template videos for template renders. Your Rewivo plan must include the API.
- To keep it going, publish it, create a campaign and set Start again every on its schedule. Run now alone posts one Reel.
How a run goes
- Sign in, then Look back: a Reel shared without proof that has shown up is marked posted, and you hear about any new problem.
- Wait for a post slot under At most.
- Take the next new video: claimed for this account, so nothing else takes it.
- Caption, then Approve the Reel (you can edit the caption).
- Post the Reel and prove it's on the profile. The run ends here. One Reel a run keeps a run under its 1 GB of files.
Videos Rewivo can give
Only vertical videos (9:16) of 3 seconds to 15 minutes, up to 100 MB, the most a run file holds. Anything else isn't listed, so it's never posted.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Which videos | Clips, template renders, or both |
| Only these runs / Only these templates | Ids, comma separated; empty: all |
| Minimum score | Clips only, 0 to 10; template renders have no score |
| Order | Newest, oldest, best score first, or at random (a new shuffle each run) |
| Post watermarked clips | Off by default |
| Rewivo's Scheduler posted it | Skip videos Rewivo itself already posted |
| Videos to look through | Each run reads up to this many (100 a request) to find one not posted yet |
Captions
| Caption | What goes out |
|---|---|
| From the video | Rewivo's Instagram caption and hashtags, else the clip's hook or title; a post set's text |
| The AI writes it | Written from the video's name and text, with How the AI writes |
| My own text | My text, where {{ item.name }} is the video's name |
A template render has no caption of its own. When the video has none decides: the AI writes it, your own text, or skip the video.
What happens when something goes wrong
| What happened | What it does |
|---|---|
| The key or plan is refused | The run fails with Rewivo's answer. The video goes back, unblamed. |
| Too many requests | It waits for Rewivo's Retry-After and tries once more, then the run fails. |
| The download fails | A failed try: it comes back on a later run, three tries at most. |
| The video is gone from Rewivo | Skipped. |
| You reject it | Rejected, for good. |
| Instagram shows an error and no Reel appeared | A failed try. |
| It was shared but isn't on the profile | Unconfirmed: you get a notification and it's never uploaded again by itself. |
| It's later gone from Instagram | Removed: you get a notification. |
Reels tab or feed
By default each Reel is taken off the profile grid after it's posted, so it shows in the Reels tab. Keep it on the profile grid turns that off. Instagram's web has no switch to keep a Reel out of followers' feeds, so they can still see it there and Instagram may recommend it.
FAQ
Can a video post twice?
Not on one account. A database rule lets one run claim a video, and it's saved as being shared before Share is pressed, so a Retry or a crash can't upload it again. The exception is a video Rewivo's own Scheduler also posts to the same account: turn on Rewivo's Scheduler posted it › Skip it, or don't auto-schedule it there.
Can the same video go to two accounts?
Yes. The record is per account.
What do I do with an unconfirmed Reel?
Open the campaign's Reels table and look at the profile. Mark as posted if it's there, Retry if it isn't.
Does posting clips of other people's videos work?
It can get the Reel muted or removed, or a strike on your account, and this flow can't see a mute or a strike. Use Only these runs to keep to videos you have the rights to.
Why did nothing post in a test run?
Test runs simulate the post step. Only a real campaign run uploads.
